Lock your coins.
Lock coins until a date, or let them release bit by bit. Anyone can check the lock, and nobody can open it early.
Step by step
- 1
Open the token locker
Go to Tools, Token locker and pick the coin. Any standard Robinhood Chain token works, LP tokens included.
- 2
Choose how it opens
All on one date, or vesting: nothing until a start date, then a steady release until the end date. A lock can run up to 10 years.
- 3
Choose who owns it
You, or another wallet: a team member, an investor, a treasury. Only the owner can withdraw.
- 4
Lock
Approve the coin, then lock it. You get a public lock page with the amount and the dates, ready to share. Several locks can be made in one go, all or nothing.
What it costs
- Each new lock
- a small flat fee in ETH, shown before you confirm
- Withdrawing, topping up, extending
- network fee only
After it is locked
- Withdraw
- what has opened, to your wallet or to another address you name
- Top up
- anyone can add more to a lock, on its own schedule; it only ever adds to what the owner gets
- Extend
- push the dates later, never earlier
- Hand it over
- name a new owner; it is theirs once they accept, on the terms they saw
- Coins sent by mistake
- a different coin sent to a lock’s vault can be taken back by its owner; the locked coin never can
Good to know
We can stop new locks from being made, and change the fee for new locks (never above 1 ETH). Neither touches a lock that already exists.
Two things no locker can protectA lost wallet means a lost lock: nobody can recover it for you. And a coin built to freeze or take back balances can still do that inside a lock.
Common questions
Can you open my lock early?
No. Nobody can, not even us. The contract has no way to.
Can I lock any coin?
Any standard Robinhood Chain token, LP tokens included.
What if my coin takes a fee on transfer?
The lock records what actually arrived in its vault, so it only ever shorts itself.
How do people check it?
Share the lock’s public page. It reads the lock straight from the chain.
