Straight into a pool means your coin trades in its pool from the first block. A bonding curve sells the first part of the supply on a curve, then moves the coin and what it raised into a pool.

Flap’s tax, in plain words
A cut of every buy and every sell of your coin, paid to you, for as long as it trades: on the curve and after it moves to its pool. Buys and sells can have different rates. Traders pay Flap’s curve fee plus your tax, nothing more; Flap’s cut and Uprally’s share come out of the tax.
Buy back and burn: this share buys your coin back and burns it for good. Paid to holders: paid in ETH to every wallet holding at least 10,000 of your coin, by how much they hold; Flap sends it once a holder is owed about $4, and they can claim any time. Pools and contracts get none. Added to liquidity: goes into your coin’s pool, and that liquidity is locked forever. Whatever is left is yours.
Getting paid
Creator fees build up per coin. Claim them from Portfolio, under Launches. The same claim shows on your coin’s page, on your dashboard and in the You tab on a phone.
