## Step by step

1. 1Open the coin
   From Home, Explore, search, or by pasting its address. Check its holders first: [read a coin](https://uprally.co/docs/read-a-coin).
2. 2Choose Buy or Sell, and how much
   Buy in ETH. Sell any part of what you hold, or all of it. The box shows what you get, the price and every fee.
3. 3Confirm
   From your own wallet, it asks you to sign. With 1-click on, it is one tap. The first sell of a coin asks once to let the swap use it.

## On a curve, or in a pool

A coin on Pons or Flap starts on its launchpad’s bonding curve. The coin page shows how far along it is; at 100% it graduates and moves into a pool. You trade it the same way either way: we route to wherever the coin trades.

## Slippage

Prices move while a trade is on its way. Slippage is how far you let it move before the trade is cancelled instead. It is 5% unless you change it in Settings or the trade box: 1% to 50%, or your own. Above 15% the box warns you.

**Checked before you sign**Every trade is built by Uprally and checked before your wallet sees it: it can only be a swap through the exchange’s own router, or the one approval a sell needs. Anything else is refused before it reaches you.

## Common questions

**What do I pay?**

The pool’s or launchpad’s own fee, and a small site fee. Both are in the trade box before you confirm.

**Can I trade a coin Uprally doesn’t list?**

Yes. Paste its address in search.

**My trade failed. Did I lose money?**

No. A failed trade costs only the network’s gas; your ETH or coins stay where they were.

**Why did it say the price moved?**

It moved past your slippage while the trade was on its way. Try again, or allow a little more.
